A workshop, not a warehouse.
MYLADDER started with a Mumbai problem: a family that wanted to move — really move — inside 900 square feet, and a market that offered either powder-coated gym steel or plastic playsets, both of which made a beautiful room worse.
So we built the thing we couldn’t buy: stall bars from solid American walnut, machined to furniture tolerances, mounted like a bookshelf and strong enough for kipping pull-ups. Neighbours asked. Then their architects asked. Then it became a company.
Every wall is still made in one workshop in Mumbai. The walnut is air-dried, CNC-machined for repeatable joinery, then finished entirely by hand — because a machine can cut a mortise but it can’t feel a splinter.
We sell on WhatsApp, deliberately. A wall that holds your children deserves a conversation, not a checkout.
Furniture first
If it wouldn’t belong in a beautiful living room switched off, it doesn’t ship. Fitness is the function; furniture is the standard.
One material, honestly
Solid walnut and steel. No veneers pretending, no MDF hiding, no finish that can’t be repaired with a cloth and oil.
